Mountain Outpost is a YouTube series featuring weird, wild, wacky challenges surrounding mountain sports.

Mountain Outpost is where running and the show “Jackass” meets: running challenges, interviews, and weekly news show Mtn Outhouse News.

It started off innocent, and then things escalated. It began with the “Mystery Drop Bag Challenge” video featuring Jamil Coury and Schuyler Hall consuming the remains of aged participant drop bags from a prior ultramarathon event. It was a hit, and the challenges continued to escalate. Soon, an additional show was created-“Mtn Outhouse News” that featured weekly running news and the “craziest sh*t in ultrarunning”.

Michael, behind the camera and computer, co-created Mountain Outpost with Jamil Coury and Schuyler Hall. A large portion of the content created was through his influence. Michael shot and edited nearly every single video from Mountain Outpost challenges to Mtn Outhouse News #01-163 without missing a weekly upload. On top of this, Michael also managed the YouTube channel, website, Facebook, Instagram, and Patreon. Michael was pivotal in the success of the YouTube channel, with 17,000 subscribers and over 2.2 million views.
